Youth League News – Winter 2023 – Week 4

The Youth STARS for week 4 are: Maxwell Conway, Thea Brown, Colton Smith, Finley Holman, Patti Kern, Sebastian Goldstein, Julianne Buckingham, Cole Navin, Josh Koenigsberg, and Ava Lochotzki.

200+ games: David Woodruff 217, Tony Hires 220, Andrew Stanko 210 & 204, Nate Roberson 258, Liam Wilmoth 203 & 207, Christopher Martin 202, and Michael Murphy 216. Great Bowling All!

The Pepsi USBC Youth Championship league level qualifiers begin tomorrow and continue next Saturday. All you have to do is try your best and have fun! This tournament is sponsored by Pepsi Co. and conducted by the USBC. Qualifying is on a scratch series basis. Each bowler (Bantams-Majors) has 2 opportunities to qualify. The higher scratch series bowled during league play on the two dates will be used. 1:4 bowlers in each age group will qualify to advance to sectionals in March at Harford Lanes. Please be sure to read the rules posted on the bulletin board.

For those bowlers that qualified in November for Pepsi, I need to know Saturday if you are bowling the next level, so the alternates can be notified. The Pepsi State Finals which are on April 3 & 4 have been moved to Forest Hill.

There are still some vacancy spots available on teams in the Junior and Major Leagues. Bring your friends! Let’s fill those vacant spots!
