Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about our operations. Please do not hesitate to bring any questions or concerns to our Front Desk!
All food in and around the Bowling Center is provided by Fisherman’s Catch Restaurant, an independent tenant of the Bowling Center. The Restaurant is not under the management of Forest Hill Lanes. In return for providing a top-quality restaurant and a snack bar that is open whenever the Center is open, Forest Hill Lanes has agreed not to allow any person to bring any food into the Center for any reason whatsoever. The only exception to this is if you have a pre-arranged PARTY at the Lanes; in that case, you are permitted to bring your own ice cream and cake to the party, and the Snack Bar will keep this in the freezer for your event.
Online Reservations or Walk-Ins may not be used for “parties,” which include the presence of non-bowling celebrants, extra persons, gifts and gift-giving, brought-in food, etc. Our PARTY PACKAGES offer these things, plus free shoe rental, extra game coupons, invitations, food and drink from the Snack Bar, and more. In order to do this, you must use the ONLINE RESERVATIONS function. When you do, you choose the number of lanes you want, and the time you expect to be bowling. Your reservation is ASSURED in advance. Please note that LANE ASSIGNMENT is not included in this function — Management will assign your reserved lane from the available inventory of lanes for that time. Also, only certain times and functions are available for ONLINE RESERVATIONS; please select this link to see which ones.
If you reserve one or more lanes, the Bowling Center can limit the number of people bowling per lane (usually 6 per lane). However, there is no limit to the number of people you may have on the CONCOURSE, so long as these people do not go into the lanes area, and so long as these people “fit” in the area immediately behind your lane(s), and do not impede the flow on the concourse, and you are not holding a “party” without having reserved a Party Package (see above). Management reserves the right to limit the number of these extra people if necessary, and State of Maryland and/or Harford County COVID Pandemic restrictions, of course, must be followed, and may change or limit the above.

Yes! All Weekday Specials ($2 Tuesdays & Thursdays; $5 Wednesdays & Fridays) are in place every day, whether Harford County schools are open, closing early, or closed! See our SPECIAL OFFERS page for detailed information on these Specials.
Yes. Gift Cards are sold at the Front Desk. Forest Hill Lanes GIFT CARDS may be used for any in-person (not over the Internet) Lanes purchase, including Open Bowling games, shoe rentals and Special Offers or Special Times bowling (such as Wednesdays and Fridays Open Bowling Specials). Not included: Pro Shop, Snack Bar and Fisherman’s Catch Restaurant charges; as noted above, Gift Cards may NOT be used for Online Reservations. See the Front Desk if you have any questions.
